Pat Galea BEng(Hons) BSc

I’m a geek with a strong interest in all aspects of technology and science.

My main focus these days is Project Icarus, where I’m helping to create a rigorous theoretical design of a fusion-powered starship as a modern followup to the Daedalus project of the 1970s. My primary responsibility is the interstellar communication system. In connection with my work on interstellar flight, I am also an officially-recognised Tau Zero Practitioner.

I love apes and monkeys, giving a lot of support to Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre.
